Inventory Control Clerk – Toledo, OH

 About The Position

This current opportunity will be based in Toledo, OH. The Inventory Control Clerk will be expected to maintain accurate inventory counts.    If you have experience with accuracy, problem solving and cycle counting experience this may be the right position for you!

  • Maintenance of warehouse inventory management system.
  • Ability to adjust and update inventory using AS400 operating system as needed.
  • Facilitate excellent communication skills between warehouse, purchasing and accounting; phone and email.
  • Perform product cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to provide resolution.
  • Prevent and resolve issues related to shipping and receiving errors.
  • Perform quality assurance inspections as needed.
  • Perform all other warehouse related duties as needed.

Job Requirements

About You

  • 1 – 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment is required.
  • Computer experience -  AS400 or Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft Office – Excel
  • Ability to work 1st shift with occasional 3rd shift coverage as needed.
  • Detail oriented and organized with strong mathematical skills for accurate inventory counts.
  • Must be able to communicate in a professional manner and respond with timeliness.
  • Self-starter who is able to manage your own work.
  • Ability to write and present information effectively to all departments.
  • Proven team player, self-motivated, and independent thinker.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet rider.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
