Job Description

Non CDL Delivery Driver Program – Toledo, OH

Where Great People Come To Work!

Start as a Non-CDL Driver and within a short time you will be a licensed Class A Driver.

We do have limited number of positions for this program, so if you have a safe driving record and desire work in one of the fastest growing industries we would like to talk to you.

Responsibilities:

As a Non CDL Driver with Sofo Foods, you will be responsible for delivering product to our restaurant customers driving a non-commercial vehicle locally and assisting a Class A Driver on routes regionally.
After you have our process down, comfortable with the routes and knowledge of our product you will be sent to school to obtain your Class A. We will pick up the tab for your class.
The environment is fast pace, servicing our customers by making numerous deliveries throughout the day.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.
20 years or older.
Ability to pass a criminal background, and drug test.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record – No OVI’s.
Experience driving a non CDL vehicle.
Experience delivering to businesses or the public.
Experience using a hand cart.
Physical ability to lift 60 lbs. on a consistent basis.
Ability to obtain Class A within 3 – 6 months of hire.
Ability to follow all safety requirements including the current Covid – 19.

Compensation:

As a Non CDL Driver you will earn $17.00 per hour
As a CDL Class A Driver you will earn $200 per day. After you are certified by our Driver Auditor, pay will then increase to $270 per day for 1 day routes and $330 per day for 2 Day routes
